Review Policy

What our review labels mean

True Outdoors separates customer-submitted reviews from supplier-sourced reviews and does not label a review as a verified purchase unless it can be matched to genuine order evidence for that product.

Verified Purchase

The Verified Purchase badge is applied only when the review system finds an order matching the reviewer's submitted email address and the reviewed product. A customer review without an order match can still be moderated and published, but it does not receive the badge.

Supplier-sourced reviews

Supplier-sourced customer feedback is labelled separately and can never carry the True Outdoors Verified Purchase badge. Supplier-sourced reviews do not contribute to the headline customer star rating.

Moderation

New customer reviews enter moderation before public display. Moderation can remove spam, abusive content, personal information, obvious product mismatch or content that does not constitute a genuine product review. Negative reviews are not rejected merely for being critical.

Review integrity

True Outdoors does not fabricate customer reviews or convert supplier reviews into verified purchases. Public ratings are based on reviews approved for storefront display.
